What We Do Safari Thrift is a unique local program built on the value of reciprocity. We collect donations for new refugee homes, sell quality items at affordable prices and provide employment training to refugee newcomers. The local community supports by donating, volunteering and shopping. Our global community
– refugees from all around the world – learns job skills and helps run
the business, thereby giving back to refugees and the Denver community. | Employment Training

The Safari Thrift Employment training Program provides adult refugees with 12 weeks of training and hands-on work experience in retail and janitorial skills through work in the Safari Thrift Store. Participants also learn about American work culture, workplace communication and other soft skills that contribute to job readiness in the United States.
