Since April 2016, Refugee & Immigrant Youth Consortium (RIYC) has successfully helped intentional conversations about areas that concern the livelihood of refugee and immigrant youth such as; creating professional opportunities, understanding the dynamics of religion/spirituality, and creating meaningful dialogue concerning violence among youth groups.
The RIYC meetings are an opportunity to bring together all agencies, community groups, government offices, other non-profits and individuals concerned with local and national initiatives that affect positive youth development for refugee and immigrant youth in the Denver Metro area.
The Youth Consortium is held bi-monthly at Mango House located at 1532 Galena St. in Aurora, Colorado 80010. On the 1st Wednesday of the month between 1pm - 3pm.
Please contact Brenda Herrera Moreno, Youth Programs Coordinator, for any further questions or interest: firstname.lastname@example.org.
