The evening celebrates the Colorado Refugee Youth Scholarship Fund aiming to raise $10,000 towards scholarships to outstanding refugee youth. The Colorado Refugee Youth Scholarship Fund was created to provide financial support for outstanding refugee youth who choose to pursue higher education, while engaging participants as leaders and change-makers in the community. In addition to their hard work in school and at home for their families, the scholarship program is a year-long leadership training program, which includes volunteering in the community and mentoring other younger refugee students. Upon completion of the program,each student is awarded a $1,000 scholarship to use toward tuition or educational expenses.

Concert for a Cause

This exciting benefit concert features talented Regis Students performing a variety of acts, from calming harp pieces, astounding violin, amazing singing, to slam poetry, good old guitar, and even some banjo strumming! 

All donations will go to the African Community Center, an organization that helps refugees create safe new lives and communities in Denver. Members from the organization will provide more information at the concert and a reception featuring african cuisine will follow the concert!

We Made This Sip and Sew Fundraiser

SIP & SEW FUNDRAISER

Our next Sip & Sew workshop will be Thursday, October 23rd from 6-9pm.  Come and make your own table runner to decorate your Thanksgiving dinner table.  All sewing levels are welcome.

Cost: $45 for one or $80 for two (includes materials, drinks, and treats).

Proceeds go toward supporting our sewing teacher, Tin Tin.
