Current Volunteer Needs

In addition to Nest a Home, First Friends, and Co-Sponsorship volunteer roles, the following volunteer opportunities listed below are also available.

Ruby’s Pantry Deliver Driver

  • Grocery deliveries to newly arrived refugee families

  • Wednesday mornings

  • Requires use of personal vehicle and ability to carry up to 30 lbs

WeeCycle Delivery Driver

  • Baby gear and supplies to refugee families

  • Thursday mornings

  • Requires use of personal vehicle and ability to carry up to 30 lbs

Additional volunteer roles include:

- transportation to Social Security and DMV appointments

- internet setups

- apartment setups

- bus training

- healthcare navigation

- conversational English partner

- childcare during meetings

- other flexible, one-time opportunities
